Water Pollution

Water pollution concerns everything about our water forms that are polluted. A good example is the Pasig River. There are lots of programs already that help clean the river but until now there is still trash in the river. Even in the Manila Bay, the sides are full of trash such as plastic wrappers which came from the people who stay there. Water pollution has less ways of preventing it. Even though we tell people on what not to do, they don’t care. Instead, as an individual, we should show them what is right and how it will help them too. We could participate in cleaning campaigns and by not throwing garbage in our water forms. We should also encourage our government officials in having programs to educate people who live near the water forms. Some people don’t know that the water we drink also comes from the water form we are dirtying. People should know that to be able to realize that water is precious in our lives that it should not be wasted.
